      Die-Hard Gamer was founded in 1996 as "Ultimate Gaming Online" and later as "Ultimate Gaming Zero." In 1999 we acquired staff members from affiliates in the UGO, Warcry/GameFan Network, and the IGN, renaming ourselves Die-Hard Gamer. We are centrally located in Chicago, IL, with additional staff located on both east and west coasts.

     For several years we have also assisted GOAT Publishing with producing the Midwest Gaming Classic - the largest video game convention in the entire Midwest. Currently occupying more than 21,000 square feet, the Midwest Gaming Classic is filled with games and systems from the earliest pong machines to the latest cutting edge consoles.
